Veterinary Technicians (Veterinary Nurses)

Ellen

She likes helping animals, since they can't help themselves and can't say what's wrong with them, or how they feel.

"I feel good having helped a helpless animal and making them better."

Some experiences that she had that made a big impression on her are: 1) Helping a dog that was HBC (hit by a car), who had multiple injuries but is now doing great, and 2) "assisting in a C-section and helping the babies take their first breath."

Jessica

Jessica worked in New York at her aunt’s veterinary office, and loved the animals.

She says, “I enjoy working with our clients and have bonded with their pets. Our staff is now like a little family.”

She has a cat named Cody.

Kelly

Kelly became a veterinary technician because she has always had a love for animals and wants to know as much as she can to help them, and to teach others.

She likes the small staff and friendly clients at Old Court.

She has two dogs, Miller and Roxy.

One day, Kelly would like to own a farm, and maybe even start a rescue organization.
